Start Your First Session (No Install)

You can try Dreambooth’s session flow without installing the Photobooth App and without a physical camera or printer by using web mode (if available for your account).

What You Can Test Without Hardware

  • Welcome and checkout — How the welcome screen and payment step look.
  • Session flow — Step-by-step flow (e.g. capture → selection → result) using a webcam or simulated capture if supported.
  • Project and branding — How your project, frames, and filters appear in the flow.

You cannot fully test printing or real booth hardware until the app is installed on a booth PC with a connected printer and camera.

Start a Test Session in Web Mode

  1. Log in to the Platform (dashboard) and ensure you have at least one project with a frame set (and optional filters/voucher).
  2. Open the web mode or “test session” entry point from the dashboard (e.g. a link or button that starts a session in the browser).
  3. Go through the steps: welcome → (optional) payment → capture (webcam or simulated) → selection → result.
  4. Confirm that the result screen and any preview match your project settings.

What “Success” Looks Like

  • The session completes without errors.
  • The final result reflects your project’s layout and branding.
  • If payment is enabled, the checkout step appears and behaves as expected (you can skip or use a test payment if available).

When you’re ready to run real sessions with camera and printer:

  2. Follow Installation to install the Photobooth App, connect and verify the printer and camera, and do a first end-to-end test.
