Customer Handling Guide

Normal Flow (What the Operator Should Watch)

  1. Guest sees welcome and (if enabled) checkout/payment.
  2. Guest completes capture (with retakes if allowed by the project).
  3. Guest selects photos and sees result; print is triggered if configured.
  4. Session uploads to the platform when online.

Operators should ensure guests complete each step without errors; if the app stalls or shows an error, see Troubleshooting Overview.

Skip Payment

When payment is enabled but you want to let a guest through without paying (e.g. comp, staff, or promotion), use the skip payment (or equivalent) action in the app at the checkout step. The exact label depends on your app version; it is typically on the payment screen for operators. Use it sparingly and per your policy.

Reprint Rules and Best Practice

  • Reprint from result — If the guest is still on the result screen and the print failed or was poor quality, use the app’s reprint option if available.
  • Reprint from gallery — After the session, you can reprint from the dashboard Gallery (if supported) by finding the session and triggering a reprint.
  • Best practice: Fix the underlying printer issue (paper size, connection, driver) before doing multiple reprints; see Printer Issues.

Check Upload Status (What to Do If Pending)

  • In the dashboard, open Gallery or Transactions and find the session.
  • If the session shows as pending or media has not uploaded, ensure the booth PC has internet and the app is still running (or was closed after uploads completed). See Network Issues.
  • If uploads stay stuck, avoid closing the app mid-upload; restart the app or PC only after checking network.

Common Customer Issues (Quick Fixes)

Wrong photo selectedUse retake if still in session (project allows); otherwise reprint from gallery if needed.
