Installation

Install the Dreambooth photobooth app from the web dashboard. Windows is the production installer. Android is available as a Beta APK for tablet booths.

Prerequisites

Device meets device requirements
You have downloaded the latest installer / APK from the dashboard (Installation menu)

Windows

Download the Windows installer from Dashboard → Installation.
Run the installer on the photobooth PC with administrator rights if required.
Complete the installation wizard (accept defaults or choose install path as needed).
Connect camera and printer and ensure they are detected by Windows.
Launch the app and sign in with your Dreambooth account when prompted.

Android (Beta)

The Android app is a Beta release. Expect rough edges; report issues to support so we can harden it before GA.

Open Dashboard → Installation and download the Android (Beta) APK.
On the tablet, allow installs from your browser or file manager if Android prompts you.
Open the APK and complete installation.
Launch Dreambooth, sign in, and select your project.

Expected result

The app launches successfully and you can sign in and select a project. If the app does not start or devices are not found, see Printer issues and Camera issues.

Troubleshooting

Windows installer fails: Ensure Windows is up to date and you have write access to the install directory.
App won't start after install: Check antivirus or security software; allow the app if blocked.
Android APK blocked: Enable “Install unknown apps” for the browser/file manager that downloaded the APK, then retry.
Android (Beta) bugs: Note your tablet model + Android version and contact support — this channel is explicitly Beta.
