Troubleshooting Overview

Use this page to decide what to check first and when to restart the app or the PC.

Quick Diagnosis Flow (What to Check First)

  1. Symptom — Printer not printing? Camera not detected? Can’t log in or sync? Upload stuck?
  2. Hardware — Cables connected? Power on? Device visible in Windows (Device Manager / Settings)?
  3. Network — Internet working on this PC? Firewall allowing the app? See Network Issues.
  4. App state — Correct project loaded? Any on-screen error? Try one more session or one more print.

Gather Info Before Escalating

  • Printer: Is it in the Windows printer list? Does a Windows test print work? Paper size correct? See Printer Issues.
  • Camera: Is it under Cameras in Device Manager? Is another app using it? See Camera Issues.
  • Network: Can you browse the web? Can the app sync after a restart? See Network Issues.

When to Restart App vs Restart PC

  • Restart app — Try this first when: camera or printer not detected after they were working, sync failing, app frozen or lagging. Close the app cleanly (exit/quit) and launch again.
  • Restart PC — Try when: app restart didn’t fix detection, camera “busy” or stuck, or you need to clear driver/network state. Allow uploads to finish first if possible.
