Frames

Frames define how photos are laid out on the print or in the result. You manage them from Dashboard → Frames: list view and a per-frame editor (create or edit by opening a frame by ID).

Frame Types and Sizing

  • Set dimensions to match your print size (e.g. 4x6, 2x6) and the project’s output.
  • Photo placeholders — Number and position of photos on the layout.
  • Background and optional elements — QR code, branding, text.

Upload/Create Frames

  1. Go to Dashboard → Frames.
  2. Create a new frame or open an existing one.
  3. Set dimensions, background, photo placeholders, and any QR or branding.
  4. Save so the frame is available for assignment.

Assign Frames to a Project

  • In Dashboard → Projects → [project], assign the frames you want. The app uses them for capture and print layout. Guests see the frame during photo selection and on the final Result page.

Preview and Print Alignment Tips

  • Previews in the dashboard may differ from the app (browser vs actual camera/print pipeline). For print alignment and final look, always do a test print from the Photobooth App. Ensure the project frame dimensions match the Windows printer paper size. See Printer Issues if the size is wrong.
