Analytics
Analytics in the dashboard (or linked from the main dashboard view) help you monitor usage and make business decisions.
What Metrics Mean
- Sessions — Number of completed (or started) photobooth sessions in the selected period.
- Revenue / payments — Payment volume from sessions (before or after settlement, depending on the view).
- Device usage — How often each device (booth) is used; useful for multi-booth setups.
- Project usage — Which projects are used most; helps decide which branding or flow to promote.
- Voucher usage — How many sessions used cash or discount vouchers.
Exact metrics and labels depend on your plan and the dashboard UI.
Daily/Weekly Monitoring
- Check dashboard overview (or analytics section) for daily or weekly totals: sessions, revenue, uploads.
- Use Transactions and Gallery for drill-down: filter by date, project, or device to spot trends or issues.
- If sessions or uploads drop, check Network Issues and device status.
How the Dashboard Counts a Day
A day on the dashboard is a calendar day, 00:00–23:59, in the time zone of the device you open the dashboard on. Opened from Jakarta that means 00:00–23:59 WIB; from Mexico City, 00:00–23:59 local time. This applies to every range: Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, and Custom.
The 14 September 2026 Change
Before 14 September 2026, the dashboard cut days at UTC rather than in your time zone:
| Location | One day before 14 Sep | One day now |
|---|---|---|
| WIB (UTC+7) | 07:00 – 06:59 next day | 00:00 – 23:59 |
| WITA (UTC+8) | 08:00 – 07:59 next day | 00:00 – 23:59 |
| Mexico City (UTC−6) | 18:00 previous day – 17:59 | 00:00 – 23:59 |
In Indonesia, sessions between midnight and 07:00 WIB used to land on the previous date; in Mexico, sessions after 18:00 used to land on the next date. They now land on their own calendar date. No transaction was lost — it only moved date. Daily recaps you noted down before 14 September can differ from what the dashboard shows now, especially if your booth runs past midnight (Indonesia) or into the evening (Mexico).
The daily and weekly email reports (Enterprise) made the same change on 24 September 2026 — see Email Reports.
Matching an Old Recap
- Click Filters on the dashboard.
- Under Time zone, enter 0 (UTC+0).
- Pick the dates, then Apply Filters.
The numbers are now counted the old way. Any small difference left is transactions recorded after your recap was taken — see below.
Booths That Run Past Midnight
To count one night shift as one day, enter a Time zone number smaller than your own. The day then starts at hour (your zone − the number entered). From WIB:
| Time zone entered | One day runs |
|---|---|
| 7 (WIB default) | 00:00 – 23:59 |
| 4 | 03:00 – 02:59 next day |
| 2 | 05:00 – 04:59 next day |
| 0 | 07:00 – 06:59 next day |
From Mexico City (UTC−6), entering −10 starts the day at 04:00; −12 starts it at 06:00.
This setting is not saved on your account. It travels in the page address (tz=...), so bookmark the dashboard after setting it. Click the Time zone chip to go back to the device's zone.
Why a Past Day's Numbers Can Go Up
A day's numbers can grow after the day is over, even with the same day boundary:
- Payments confirmed late. Transactions and revenue only count settled payments. Pending Midtrans payments are re-checked automatically for up to 48 hours and counted once confirmed.
- Booths that were offline. The booth stores sessions while the internet is down and uploads them once it is back. Those sessions land on the date they happened, not the date they were uploaded.
For a daily recap, take the numbers after the booth has closed and been online for a while — or re-check the next day.
Common Business Decisions from Analytics
- Peak times — When to staff more or ensure the booth is ready.
- Project performance — Which projects (e.g. events or themes) drive more sessions; adjust active project or branding.
- Voucher effectiveness — Whether vouchers drive traffic or revenue; adjust voucher campaigns.
- Device health — Which devices have low usage or many failed uploads; troubleshoot or relocate.
